Dr. Maggie Powell was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama, where she has been a lifelong member of Heritage Baptist Church. She attended LAMP High School and began shadowing at Pet Care Center in her senior year and throughout college. She attended Auburn University for an undergraduate degree in Animal Science and was a member of Auburn’s IHSA equestrian team. Dr. Powell then graduated from Auburn’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022 with professional passions in orthopedics, reproduction, and critical care/emergency. Outside of the office she enjoys going on long trail rides, family game nights, and skeet shooting. She has many adorable pets including her horse Rascal, her dogs Cash and Tres, and her cat Jim.
